Deliberate creative decision?

I would expect nothing less from the "quality" control team at Lucasfilm. ;)

P.S. The title of this post refers to the term Lucasfilm used to explain away various mistakes on the 2004 DVDs...that were actually due to pure laziness. They outrightly lied several times about very obvious gaffes and problems and later retracted their statements. Good job, guys. :p
