Spam, not SPAM

The way that the Shaw Direct people wrote it for their onscreen guide, they are referring to the tinned meat product. The differences are very clearly explained mere minutes into the documentary. Should be Spam, not SPAM.

In related news, I looked it up at imdb.com and found this review there:

First of all, it was not pour, nor was it poor! It was very good! Throughly researched and informative. How many experts from around the world does the guy have to talk to before this dumb reviewer sees how much went into it? :/

And finally, on the subject of SPAM, I made this little edit for a guy who calls himself Spamtron. He makes chiptunes.

Simple but effective, no? :)

The Stig

From the BBC Canada website:

"only know as"?! They should probably hire someone whose first language is English to write those things. Or who is familiar with the phrase 'known only as.' :p

More SST oopsies

From a commercial segment on Street Sport Television. Lack of space in 'and designated' and it should be ensure, not insure.

Should be Spokesmodels'. I bet it is supposed to be either Gold Coast or Goldcoast, too.

SCTV oopsies

This post is hard evidence that I am not just making fun of things/people I think are dumb, but also pointing out errors involving things I love, like SCTV...

This one really surprised me. Lola Heatherton is one of their biggest characters and this was not done as a purposeful error, as evidenced from the rest of the episode. (I can't remember why right now, so just trust me on this one. Heh...)

Same deal here with Perini. Just a failure to communicate, perhaps.

"Lol"cat poster

Made this a while back for fun...

Pretty much sums up how I feel about people purposefully misspelling things and internet lingo/jargon in general.

Having said that, ROFLCOPTER! <—— (I don't mind that one because it made a friend and I laugh...)

Redundancy

From Yahoo's NBA news last season:

Deron Williams had actually not played since January 26th. (this post was made in February) I always find it weird when they post two almost identical updates back-to-back like this. Why?! The only differences are Brian T Smith/Brian T. Smith and Dec. 26/December 26th.

Oh, Ralph...

The file name has it spelled wrong as well. :p Great scene, though! One of the best. I miss watching that show back when I used to care about it.
